Talent for Care - Partnership Pledge
Driven by recommendations from the Francis report, the Cavendish Review and the Department of Health’s Mandate for Health Education England (HEE), the Talent for Care is a national strategy developed by HEE to improve training and development for all NHS staff working at band levels 1-4. HEE is working with various national, regional and local partners to increase investment in the support workforce and to spread good practice and innovation.
As an organisation West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust has joined the programme and has pledged its commitment to education, training and development for the support workforce. A partnership pledge was approved and signed by Sir Graham Meldrum, Chairman and Dr Anthony Marsh, Chief Executive in October 2015.
