The Trust is looking to recruit highly motivated clinicians who are passionate about providing excellent patient care to join our well established teams across the Region.
If you have HCPC registration, hold an IHCD Emergency Driving qualification and have a Full driving licence including Full Category C1 with no more than 3 points then we want to hear from you.
As you are about to embark on your new chosen career providing excellent care to the patients of the West Midlands region, the Trust will firstly enrol you onto a 6 week induction programme. The programme consists of 3 weeks clinical familiarisation in a classroom environment and a 3 week IHCD Emergency driving course and formal qualification. Following completion of the induction you will then receive ongoing support for you in your new role.
To be eligible to apply for the post of Graduate Paramedic with the Trust, you should be nearing completion of an educational programme that will result in HCPC registration as a Paramedic and hold a Full driving licence with no more than 3 points.

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to attend an Advanced Life Saving (ALS) assessment and upon completing this successfully will then undertake the following:
- Driving assessment
- Fitness assessment
- Clinical OSCE (conscious patient) assessment
- Clinical VIVA (verbal case study) assessment
Any offers of employment remain conditional to receipt of pre-employment checks deemed satisfactory to the Trust.
Once recruited, Paramedics working within the Trust then have plenty of opportunity to progress within the service into various positions including management, clinical lead and educational roles.
