West Midlands Ambulance Service has improved the way news about the Trust is distributed to the public by embracing social media. To receive the latest news, press releases and stories from the Trust, you can now follow us on Twitter, 'like us' on Facebook and view us on Posterous. These official sites will be regularly updated with everything that is going on at West Midlands Ambulance Service, including good news stories, general health advice, the dates of public meetings and much more. Using these sites allows us to share our news and highlight the good work carried out by our ambulance staff more quickly and to a wider audience than ever before.   • Friday 15th July – A woman has been taken to hospital after the car she was driving overturned on the M5.
  • Friday 15th July 2011 - A man has been airlifted to hospital after his car collided with a lorry on A46 near Beckford, Worcestershire .
  • Thursday 14th July 2011 – A woman has been flown to hospital after the car she was driving overturned on the M6 Toll in Staffordshire.
  • Thursday 14th July 2011 – A man has been airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision in Wombourne yesterday.
  • Wednesday 13th July 2011 – Two men have escaped with little injury after the van they were travelling in overturned on the M6 today.
  • Wednesday 13th July 2011 – West Midlands Ambulance Service is currently appealing to anyone who is interested in becoming a volunteer car driver to help transport patients to vital non-urgent hospital appointments.
  • Wednesday 13th July 2011 – The new co-ordinator of a Community First Responder group in north Worcestershire has unveiled ambitious plans to strengthen their ability to respond to medical emergencies.
  • Wednesday 13th July 2011 – A man has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Coventry yesterday.
  • Tuesday 12th July 2011 – A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after an RTC in Warwickshire this morning.
  • Monday 11th July 2011 – A man has died after being in collision with a train in Birmingham.
