your support in helping to shape the development of our Ambulance
Service Trust.

Each Foundation Trust has a membership of
local people, like you, who have an interest in how the Trust is
run and developed in the future.
Anyone over the age of 16 who lives in the
West Midlands can become a member. Membership costs nothing and you
can join more than one Foundation Trust if you would like to; you
must however live within their catchment area. As a member,
you can be involved as little or as much as you choose and in a
variety of different ways.
There are two types of membership:
Level 1
You will receive information from the Trust
about our activities, current projects and initiatives and also our
services. This will be fairly brief but informative.
Level 2
Level Two membership is more active and
enables you to have more of a say in how we address patient needs.
You will be given a chance to attend seminars and take part in
focus groups and surveys as well as playing an active role in
shaping our decision-making.
Level Two members may also want to consider
standing for election as a Governor. All members have a vote
as to who represents them as a Governor on the Members'
Council. The Members' Council works closely with
the Board of Directors to represent members views, contribute
ideas, advice and provide a link with our communities.
