The Trust has featured in a wide variety of programmes and across many different TV and satellite channels. From the Bafta-winning ‘Ambulance’ on the BBC, to Inside the Ambulance on Watch, to Operation Ouch on CBBC, the one constant on display is the high level of professionalism shown by our staff.
Most recently, the Trust has featured in 999: On the Front Line on Channel 4 and More4, and Ambulance Code Red on Channel 5.
Communications Director, Murray MacGregor, said: “The public has an incredible appetite for programmes involving emergency services and that is why, as a service, we regularly take part in different TV projects as it give us chance to showcase exactly what it is like to work for the ambulance service.
“Whether it is paramedics responding to patients, our call assessors in the control rooms or back office staff who make all of it possible, TV exposure gives us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the incredible professionalism of our staff and the diverse nature of our workforce.
“A big ‘thank you’ to all of the staff who have agreed to take part in these filming projects, as well as the TV companies who bring it all together.”
