Two people have been taken to hospital after a collision in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, yesterday morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 6.02am to Scotia Road and sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers and a BASICS emergency doctor to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival crews found a car that had come off the road and collided with a building.
“The driver, a man, was treated for serious injuries before being conveyed under emergency driving conditions to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
“The passenger, a woman, was treated for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
“There were no other patients.”
