A man has died following a collision involving a motorbike and a tractor yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of the A51 and A4097 in Kingsbury, Tamworth at 5.24pm and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a man, who was the motorcyclist, in a critical condition. He was already receiving basic life support from bystanders.
“Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
