Two women have been injured, one critically, after a road traffic collision in Worcestershire this afternoon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A4133 in Hadley, Ombersley at 12.39pm by police reporting a serious three vehicle RTC. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a specialist paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find the driver of one car, a woman, in a critical condition. The team of medics worked quickly to administer advanced trauma care to her before she was conveyed on blue lights and sirens to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.
“The driver of a second car, a woman, and a young child were also assessed by ambulance staff. The woman was given treatment for injuries not thought to be serious. The child was uninjured, but both patients were conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further checks.”
