A man has sadly died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car in Nuneaton yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Kingswood Road, Nuneaton at 11.54am on Sunday (19th April) and responded two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a Midlands Air Ambulance to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance staff arrived at the collision they found bystanders and police administering basic life support to the motorcyclist, a man. Medics immediately took over resuscitation efforts to commence advanced life support to the man, but they were sadly unable to save his life and he was confirmed dead on scene a short time later.
“The driver of the car, a man, was conveyed to George Eliot Hospital for further checks after sustaining injuries not thought to be serious.”
