Staff at Dudley Ambulance Hub are proudly enjoying a newly refurbished memorial garden thanks to the generosity of local businesses.
Staff have been enjoying a quiet place to sit and remember their friends and colleagues who are no longer with us while at the station thanks to donations of; plants, compost, garden ornaments, lights and a plaque, and more from local businesses towards the garden.
Staff at the hub have been hard at work planting and decorating the garden on their rest days, to make this space enjoyable for everyone at the hub.
Dudley Paramedic, Chloe Barley said: “We’re incredibly grateful to all of the businesses and local people who were generous enough to donate towards our memorial garden.
“We’re lucky enough meet people out in the community while on shift every single day and the kindness we’ve experienced from people contributing to our Memorial Garden has truly blown us away.
“This garden will provide a space for outdoor wellbeing events in the summer, which will hopefully contribute towards our sense of community and boost morale at the hub. We’ve already had some great feedback from staff who have been enjoying the garden, saying that they are enjoying the flowers and enjoying the newly decorated outdoor space.”
“A huge thanks to Prestwood Cave Nursery, New Barns Nurseries, Wickes Dudley, Dunelm Wolverhampton, Webbs Hagley and SP Design for their kind donations.”
