A man has died following a road traffic collision in North Staffordshire last night (Tuesday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to reports of a motorcyclist who had fallen from his bike near to the junction of the A523 and Stony Lane in Waterhouses at 10.39pm. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered the motorcyclist, a man, in a serious condition.
“He was already receiving medical attention from bystanders before ambulance staff quickly began administering advanced life support.
“However, despite everyone’s best efforts it sadly became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
