A woman has died following a road traffic collision this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Spring Road and Rectory Road in Arley, Coventry at 6.36am and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “When emergency services arrived on scene, they found a car that had overturned and one patient, a woman.
“She was found to be in a critical condition and was already receiving basic life support from bystanders.
“Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts it became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”
