One man has died, and another man and woman have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike, this afternoon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 12.27pm to Belgrave Road in Stoke on Trent and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a Community First Responder and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival, crews found two off-duty student paramedics attending to a man, the motorcyclist, who was in a critical condition and immediately began administering advanced life support. Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“A man, the driver of the car and a woman, the passenger, were assessed and conveyed to Royal Stoke University Hospital”.
