A man has sadly died in a road traffic collision in Birmingham last night.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received multiple 999 calls reporting a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Highters Heath Lane, Kings Heath at around 7.30pm on Tuesday 4th November. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and a critical care car responded to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Ambulance staff were at the patient’s side within four minutes of the 999 calls being made to find the pedestrian, a man, in a critical condition. The team worked rapidly to administer advanced life support to the man but sadly, he couldn’t be saved and was confirmed dead a short time later on scene.”
