A man has sadly died after a shooting in Wolverhampton yesterday afternoon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 3.19pm to Eastfield Road and sent an ambulance, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman says: “On arrival, crews found a man receiving bystander CPR.
“Medics immediately administered advanced trauma care but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.”
