A man has died and two other patients have been taken to hospital following a two car RTC in Herefordshire last night (Monday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Tillington Road in Burghill at 11.40pm and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic and two BASICS doctors from the Mercia Accident Rescue Service to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered three patients.
“One of whom, a man, who was the driver of one of the cars was found to have suffered serious injuries. Sadly, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“A second man, who was a passenger in one of the cars was treated for serious injuries before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment.
“The other driver, also a man, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and taken to Hereford County Hospital.”
