A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Stratford Road and Shipston Road near to Newbold on Stour in Warwickshire at 10.06am and sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews discovered two patients.
“A man, who was the motorcyclist, was found to have suffered serious injuries in the incident. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“The driver of the car, a woman, was treated for a serious but not life-threatening injury, before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
