West Midlands Ambulance Service staff provided trauma care to a seriously injured motorcyclist earlier this morning in Chelmsley Wood.
We received a 999 call at 4.39am (Monday) to reports of a motorcyclist who had come off his bike at the junction of Yorkminster Drive and Chester Road, Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a critical care car from The Air Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance staff arrived at the scene, they found a man who had reportedly come off his motorbike, and was seriously injured. The team of ambulance staff worked quickly to administer trauma care to the man, stabilising his condition on scene before conveying him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.”
