A man has died following a collision between a lorry and pedestrian in Birmingham yesterday (Thursday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Stechford Lane and Stechford Road in Ward End at 12.19pm and sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews discovered one patient, a man, who was the pedestrian.
“Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“There were no other patients from the incident.”
