A pedestrian received advanced trauma care after being found with serious injuries in Birmingham this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car at the junction of Lawley Middleway and Garrison Circus, Digbeth at 6.40am today (Tuesday). Two ambulances and MERIT trauma team responded to the incident.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find a pedestrian, a man, in a critical condition. The team of medics worked together to administer advanced trauma care to the man to stabilise his condition before conveying him on blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.”
