Two men have been injured, one seriously, following a collision in Solihull last night.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 9.04pm to Hobs Moat Road in Elmdon, Solihull. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a BASICS emergency doctor and the Critical Care Car from the Air Ambulance Service attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival we found two men who were pedestrians.”
“The first man was assessed and had sustained serious injuries. He received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.”
“The second man was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries. He received treatment at the scene from ambulance staff before being conveyed to Heartlands Hospital for further assessment.”
“The driver of the car did not require treatment from ambulance staff.”
