A man and a woman have been injured after a collision with a car whilst riding an e-scooter in Birmingham.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to High Street, Smethwick at 11.21pm last night (Tuesday). Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma team responded.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance crews arrived on scene they found a man and a woman who had been injured after reportedly falling off an e-scooter following a collision with a car.
“Both patients sustained potentially serious injuries and received trauma care on scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further treatment.
“The driver of the car was uninjured.”
