Please be advised that all requests from Solicitors seeking access to their clients’ data — including Medical Records, Call Recordings, Crew Statements, and Interviews — must be submitted via email to [email protected]
To reduce unnecessary follow-up and ensure timely processing, all submissions must include the following information:
- Client/Patient Full Name
- Client/Patient Date of Birth
- Incident Date or Date Range
- Incident Location (or What3Words reference)
- Confirmation of Litigation – Please confirm whether legal action is or is not being taken against the Trust
- Signed Consent – From the client or an appropriate legal representative (e.g. litigation friend)
- Details of Requested Data – Clearly specify what is being requested (e.g. medical records, call recordings, crew statements, interviews)
Without the above details and required and relevant documentation, we will be unable to process the request.
The following charges are applied to Solicitor Requests.
- Statements – £70 per individual statement (for 2 clinicians, this will be a cost of £140).
- Interview per Crew – £350 per hour (this is a standard charge for 1 or 2 clinicians)
