A two-car collision left five occupants requiring hospital treatment in Staffordshire yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to reports of a two car RTC on Etruria Road in Newcastle at 3.45pm yesterday (Monday 21st July. Four ambulances and a paramedic officer were responded to the scene. An off-duty paramedic officer came across the collision and stopped to assist crews.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “The occupants of one car, a man and a woman, were assessed by ambulance staff. The man, the driver of the vehicle, was in a serious condition and received trauma care by the team before being conveyed on blue lights and sirens to Royal Stoke University Hospital. The female passenger was given treatment on scene before being taken to the same hospital for further checks.
“A man, woman and two girls were in the second car. All four were assessed. The man, woman and one girl were conveyed to the same hospital with minor injuries.”
