Three people have been conveyed to hospital following a collision in Adderley Park, Birmingham on Sunday evening.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to a collision involving two cars, one of which was stationary and a pedestrian at the junction of Adderley Road and Landor Street in Birmingham at 8.47pm last night (Sunday). Three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic and the WMAS Critical Care Car were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival we found two men who were passengers in the first car and a woman who was a pedestrian.
“The woman had sustained potentially life threatening injuries. She received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene and was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.”
“The two men from the car were assessed by ambulance staff, the first had sustained serious injuries. He received advanced trauma care at the scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.”
“The second man had sustained injuries not believed to be serious. He received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to Good Hope Hospital for further treatment.”
“No further patients required treatment.”
