Application process
- All applications must be submitted online through the NHS Jobs website with all current vacancies advertised on our current vacancies page (link to our current vacancies page please). Please note we do not accept CVs.
- Before applying, ensure you understand the specific role that you are applying for. WMAS offers a variety of positions, from paramedics to administrative roles. Each has unique requirements and responsibilities so it is important that you are able to demonstrate your understanding and suitability throughout your application.
- Carefully read the job description to understand the skills and qualifications required.
- Clearly list your qualifications and experience to ensure that your application meets the essential criteria listed.
- Pay attention to application deadlines and ensure that you submit your application prior to the closing date.
- Ensure all sections are completed accurately and thoroughly, even if this does mean duplication of information completed earlier in the application. Double-check for any errors before submitting.
- NHS Jobs does not offer a spelling or grammar check, we would recommend you use a word processing tool such as Microsoft Word and then copying the information into the relevant section of the form.
- Please ensure that you include your telephone number as well as an email address in case we need to contact you if email systems are not working.
- All communication following the submission of your application will be completed via direct email to your preferred email address as noted on your application, therefore, your NHS Portal will not be updated any further. Keep an eye out on your emails, including Junk and Spam folders, for communications from an @wmas.nhs.uk email address.
